Sign up now for Derby 10k Business Team Challenge



COMPETITIVE businesses are being invited to sign up for the Cooper Parry Business Team Challenge, part of the Derbyshire Building Society 10k run.

Taking place on Sunday, April 3, the course starts and finishes at Pride Park stadium.
The main race organised by Sporting Futures, attracts 3,500 competitors each year.

For the team business event, companies need between four and 10 employees. At the end of the race, the four quickest times from each team are put forward for the final result.

Team event sponsor Cooper Parry provide extra facilities and refreshments for the team challenge competitors in the Pedigree suite at Pride Park. They will also provide a massage area.
Castle Donington-based PricewaterhouseCoopers is the current champion, having won the past two events.

Peter Warnes, from PwC, said: "We've got some fantastic runners here in the East Midlands and a lot of competitiveness within the team."

"The event is great for all involved and I'm sure we'll be back even stronger next year."

Melanie Campbell, of Cooper Parry, said: "We encourage all levels of runners to take part. It is about team spirit and raising money for the charities."
